Summary:
The Employee Relations Manager provides coaching, counseling and policy interpretation to all employees and supervisors/managers. The Employee Relations Specialist/ Manager provides high level support for Human Resource Department. This position manages assigned human resources projects of all sizes and complexities. Primary responsibilities include managing all technical and electronic systems such as termination EPAF, Exit Interview database, Equifax unemployment system, Banner database system, ADA database as well as the case builder system (Remedy). This position will develop and delivery training as it relates to current systems, newly implemented systems and HR policies, procedures, and processes. Records of university surveys; compiling and analyzing survey data; and assisting in developing systems for data collection and statistical analysis. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least four (4) years of directly related experience in Human Resource. Experience in employee and labor relations including conducting investigations. Demonstrated project management experience. Training and supervisory experience. Experience developing and presenting to various size groups on employee relations and systems topics. Experience processing unemployment claims. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

* Demonstrated computer skills with MS Office suite, internet and other information systems.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
