Temple Sholom Hiring for Religious School 7th Grade Teacher – Part-time Job at Greenwich, CT Full Time

Temple Sholom Learning Center is seeking a 7th Grade teacher for religious school teachers for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. This class has approximately 25 students and an assistant teacher. Classes meet Sunday mornings (9-11:30am), Tuesdays (4:30-6pm), and Wednesday (4:30-6pm). Compensation starts at $214 per Sunday and $107 per weekday ($3,000 per year). Applicants are encouraged to apply, even if not available all three days.

The 7th Grade curriculum includes social action (supporting the community with hands-on work), Jewish values, and introduction to Holocaust studies. There is a supportive team to help create the weekly lesson plans.

Exceptional candidates will bring teaching experience, knowledge of Jewish culture, and a passion for Israel. Classes are in person, but comfort with technology (e.g. Outlook, Zoom) is required.
