Somalogic went public last year and is seeking a PART TIME (24 hours/week) IT PM to operate and maintain the project load they have. A bulk of this work will be with internal/ external auditors and as they get something back from the audits, making the necessary changes within the IT environment. There are a number of applications that need to be compliant before end of this year and a number that will be implemented in Q1 of next year. Other compliance projects will include ISO 27001 audit next year. This individual will help with status reporting, schedule meetings, and be a liaison between IT, HR, finance, security, etc with the SOX project so communication is consistent across all groups. While Finance handles the majority of the SOX work, there are many IT components involved, so we are seeking an IT PM that has knowledge of SOX work and audits. THE PROJECT MANAGER ROLE HAS RESPONSIBILITY FOR LEADING THE EXECUTION OF MULTIPLE PROJECTS & PROGRAMS ACROSS DIFFERENT BUSINESS AREAS. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected IT/Software Development projects, with a focus on Informaton Security, Privacy, and IT Operations • Drive projects and programs with multiple stakeholders, cross-functional requirements, and senior level executives • Analyze work product progress, provide objective reporting of project status, prepare accurate and timely executive level reporting on all levels of a program’s progress • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved • Assist with planning and executing IT projects in compliance with IT governance processes and procedures; managing (e.g., tracking, updating, reviewing) dashboards and reports • Coordinate cross-project activities, and identify, communicate, and mitigate cross-stream risks, issues, dependencies • Meet with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and decisions on services • Assist in defining and implementing best practice standards and governance across programs • Coordinate diverse perspectives from various stakeholders to produce high quality project results • Assist in developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas of improvement • Recommend options or solutions that meet project stakeholder needs and desired outcomes; validate solutions with subject matter experts • Provide consultation to projects in tailoring of governance and program/project reviews • Evaluate and asses the results of the program • Assist in developing new goals to support the strategic direction of the business • Responsible for managing all program documentation EDUCATION: • Bachelors Degree and 5+ years of project management or equilivant experience required JOB QUALIFICATIONS: • Proven Project Management experience in IT & Software Development • Experience with protective measures around HIPAA/PHI/PII/GDPR desired • Able to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments • PMP Certification preferred • Analytical, deductive and problem solving skills a must • On-point, genuine interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to think critically, creatively, problem solve, and work with others to find the best solution • Experience presenting to executive level, and preparing executive level materials to support presentation • Ability to recognize and drive mitigation and escalations on risks and issues throughout a project’s lifecycle • Interest in learning new skills and keeping pace with changing technologies • Experience working in compliant or health care related environments a plus • Experience with defining and mapping business processes, and other business analyst skillsets as may be needed on a per project basis • Precision in work and attention to all details • Ability to manage competing stakeholder priorities • Understanding of the entire project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close, continuous improvement) • Self-starter and ability to work with little guidance • Overview knowledge of IT infrastructure • Professional Services experience managing client projects preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Thrives in a collaborative team environment • Proficient in MS Office Suite • Experienced in Visio and MS Project
