We are looking for a self-motived Bookkeeper that has experience with QuickBooks. Also, this role will be responsible for filing some individual and business tax returns. This role will change soon to focus only on bookkeeping. We require you work at the office (Los Angeles, CA) on Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The bookkeeper will be responsible for bank reconciliations, general ledger account reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and sales tax.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform month-end close for multiple clients (including reconciling general ledger accounts and preparing and posting journal entries)
• Perform daily accounting tasks (including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions)
• Assisting with special ad-hoc projects
• Answering the phones and following up with tax and bookkeeping clients
• Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses. We will train you on the tax side.
• Interview clients to obtain information/documents
• Review and analyze documents received by clients
• Effectively communicate with clients and team members
• Provide the best customer service to clients
• All work is required to be completed at office-no remote work (Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM or 1:00 PM-5:00 PM)
• $25-$30 per hour based on experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• 2 years of bookkeeping experience is required
• QuickBooks Online experience
• MS Excel experience
• Background check required
