The Department of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Tarleton State University, Stephenville, Texas is seeking applications for the
Open Rank Clinical Track and MSAT Program Director position to start July 2024. Individuals interested in this position must have a passion
for working with rural and/or underserved communities and the desire to advance the role of athletic training in traditional and emerging
settings. This is a 12-month appointment. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work and teaching requirements indicate. Requires the ability
to teach and/or work remotely at the University’s discretion.
The Program Director is responsible for providing leadership and
support for faculty and staff in the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program following guidelines set forth by the Commission on
Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) Standards for the Accreditation of Professional Athletic Training Programs. This
includes the planning and continued assessment of the programmatic framework including but not limited to its didactic and clinical
components. The Program Director will also work to recruit and retain well-rounded faculty, staff, and students.
