ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will play a key role in Talon.One’s small but ambitious team in the US. As an HR Manager, you will be wearing many hats. You will take full ownership of the People Operations topics on your side of the Atlantic as well as partner with our Sales leadership team of seven in the US and EMEA region. You will support them by offering guidance on talent- and performance management, employee relations, maintaining high productivity and engagement, and identify the training and coaching opportunities for them and their team members.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Be the point of contact for all people-related matters – payroll, benefits, leaves, employee relations, People processes and guidelines.
- Assist and support our external payroll consultant
- Utilize your previous experience and shape a kick-ass benefit offering
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
- Drive our pre-onboarding and onboarding process and ensure our new new team members feel integrated and welcome from their first day
- Engage, develop and educate the Taloners and managers on People policies and processes
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement enhancements
- Facilitate and participate in People programs and initiatives e.g., performance reviews, workforce planning, organizational changes initiatives, company culture and engagement.
- Support with organizing regional team events
- Utilize the BambooHR (our HRIS) to ensure employee data is maintained efficiently
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience in the HR Ops field within an international environment.
- Basic understanding of sales commission schemes
- Comfort with ambiguity and problem-solving
- Solid knowledge of US labor laws, with a strong focus on the Massachusetts employment law.
- Ability to self-organize, prioritize, meet deadlines, make the best use of limited resources.
