TalentSource Hiring for Laser Operators (1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts Available) Job at Elkhart, IN Full Time

Are you an experienced Laser Operator looking for a new position with a growing company in Elkhart, IN?

In this exciting position you will load and unload lasers, program and run the machines to ensure the laser is operating at all times, move materials with a forklift, ensure 5s assignments are completed, report defects, and completed timely labor reporting for jobs completed in visual.

Qualifications: Education: A high school diploma or GED
Experience: 2 or more years’ experience using small to mid-sized tools and computing measurements; experience in quality a plus
Certification(s): n/a

Functional Skills:

• Basic math and counting skills (skills assessment)
• Use of measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, paint mil. checker, micrometers, etc.
• Able to read, understand and follow work instructions
• Able to read and understand blueprints
• Able to work using small hand tools at a good speed
• Able to be flexible and move from job to job as priorities change
• Ability to use overhead cranes and lifting devices
• 
  Technology Aptitude/Skills: Ability to use computers to review procedures and enter data
• 
  Language Skills: Able to read/write/speak English fluently and is able to fill out all required forms and paperwork needed for the position; communicates in a positive way
• 
  Leadership/Behaviors: Self-directed, highly motivated, and ability to be a team player; provide mentoring and training to support the team and reach departmental goals.
