Role Summary/Purpose:
The Health & Wellness team is one of the fastest growing divisions of Synchrony Financial. This role would be responsible for driving IT solutions to meet growth and product improvement goals on our CareCredit and PetsBest platforms.

Essential Responsibilities:
Be able to take ownership, prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through on completion of complex, high-profile projects.
Plan and communicate the project status, milestones and critical issues with key stakeholders (business, client, IT).q1q1.
Be able to organize and analyze data and information and provide analytical and business oriented recommendations.
Build collaborative relationships and driving change.
Frame complex problems, apply creative analytics and formulate a pragmatic solution.
Administration of Jira/Confluence
Lead the monitoring and analyzing of operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities, and provide feedback to DevOps and IT Operations teams in search of analytical-based recommendations/solutions.
Proactively acquire business knowledge and technical expertise to provide insights to our business issues and concerns.
Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with minimum 4 years of IT experience OR in lieu of degree, High School Diploma/GED and 8 years of IT experience within a Project/Program manager role (financial/banking industry preferred)
Minimum 4 years of technology delivery and/or IT Project Management experience including developing business requirements and creating/maintaining MS project plans
Minimum 3 years of experience working with analytics tools like, SAS, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.
Minimum 3 years of experience with BI/reporting/Data Warehousing
Experienced with enterprise level web and mobile SDLC
Familiar with common development practices for enterprise web and mobile applications
Proficiency setting up, administering, and maximizing benefit of Jira and Confluence tools, including native functionality; researching, testing, and implementing plugins and other integrations; experience developing interfaces between external tooling and Jira/Confluence infrastructure; creating and managing complex Jira workflows; screen, permission and notification schemes; creating dashboard and reports; experience with Jira Service Desk.
Desired Characteristics:
Working knowledge of consumer banking platform, Fiserv or Fiserv Signature preferred
Proven verbal and written skills specifically in the development of electronic and written materials for release management proposals, presentations, and status updates
Demonstrated experience with time management, project prioritization and delivering on time and successfully completed project deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 75,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD Annual
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA and Metro NY and some positions are bonus eligible.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 24 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
