Position Summary:
Job SummaryThe Assistant Basketball Coach reports to the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including: plan practices and game strategies, game day responsibilities, operations, video coordinator, analytics and recruiting qualified student-athletes in concert with the academic mission of the University. The position is a one-year appointment through the end of the academic year, renewability is based on budget and Executive Leadership approval. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations.

Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree with no experience OR three years of coaching/playing experience required. Additional Requirements
Physical DemandMust possess the physical stamina to effectively coach the sport. Position requires the ability to move about the campus. Position requires the ability to talk and to hear instruction. Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to use fingers, hands, and arms to feel, handle, and reach. Position requires walking and occasional stooping, crouching, and bending. Position requires occasional lifting and pushing. Talking: Frequently convey detailed or important instructions and ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. Working conditions are indoors.
