Description
The Department of Neurology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who will work with our Neuromuscular section to provide outpatient medical treatment for patients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Nurse Practitioner:
Master’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in Nursing, current registration to practice as a Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State. Excellent communication skills (both oral & written), interpersonal and organization skills are required. Basic computer skills required.
Physician Assistant:
Bachelor’s Degree (foreign equivalent or higher) from an accredited Physician assistant (PA) school, current license and certificate to practice as a Physician Assistant (PA). Excellent communication skills (both oral & written), interpersonal and organization skills are required. Basic computer skills required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience treating and managing patients with Neuromuscular Disorders or other neurological disorders. Experience working in a fast paced, high volume outpatient environment. Experience using EMR.
