Senior Staff Development Trainer
(Facility Electronic Health Record Training specialist)
The Department of Mental Health has an opening for a Senior Staff Development Trainer (Facility Electronic Health Record Training Specialist) within the Division of Developmental Disabilities at Northwest Community Services (NWCS). This position will be domiciled in Marshall.
The Staff Development Trainer must be detailed orientated, work well with others, have good time management skills, poses leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs and willing to travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a specialized professional training and development position accountable for implementation and training of facility staff on an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. The position will work collaboratively with the Central Office EHR Training Coordinator, the Vendor, and DD/DBH facility counterparts to develop and maintain a consistent training curriculum across the agency. Training will focus on general computer skill building and specific EHR curriculum, and will include assessment and continuous improvement analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of media used to deliver training. Skills in training instruction and presentation. Skills in coaching initiatives for individuals and groups in classroom setting. Ability to stay abreast of training needs.
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE:
$41,016.00 – $81,192.00
SCHEDULE:
Scheduled to work 8:00am to 4:30pm, with Saturday and Sunday as days off, with flexibility as needed.
