Stanford University is seeking a Student Services Officer 1 to be responsible for making recommendations and resolving first level decisions on issues regarding admission, financial aid, housing, registrar services, visa services, student life, advising, career counseling and academic services using defined policies and practices and professional knowledge. This position will provide advice to students on a range of issues to guide them in making appropriate choices and decisions.
The Student Services Officer will be responsible for all aspects of the Postdoctoral, Visiting Scholars, Graduate Students, Visiting Researchers and Scholars’ programs. The SSO will provide administration oversight, including: appointments, reappointments, terminations, financial and grant management, administrative management visa applications, student records, onboarding and educational plans. The successful candidate will make decisions independently regarding projects, programs, and initiatives. This role will develop and implement internal policies and procedures adhering to established University policies and procedures and immigration laws. The SSO will act as a liaison for the department and will interact with Physicians, Radiologists, and institutions from all over the world. Duties include:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

WORK STANDARDS:
The expected pay range for this position is $64,480 to $85,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.At Stanford University, base pay represents only one aspect of the comprehensive rewards package.
