JOB PURPOSE:
We are looking for a Director of Learning and Organization Development to join our Talent Management and Workforce Strategy team that focuses on attracting and retaining high-quality employees, developing their skills, and continuously motivating them to perform at their highest potential in the pursuit of achieving the University’s mission. This role will report to the Associate Vice President of Talent Management and Workforce Strategy and lead the design, development, implementation and maintenance of Stanfordâs learning and development initiatives, with a primary focus on leadership development through sharing of ideas, expertise, and insights. It is an exciting opportunity to serve as a liaison between University Human Resources and all schools/business units to help maximize the potential of our leaders by effectively supporting their growth.
We are open to a hybrid work arrangement (a combination of onsite and work from home). The number of days may occasionally fluctuate subject to business need, but the expectation is that this position will be onsite a minimum of 2 days/week. The onsite work location is Stanford Redwood City Campus, 505 Broadway, Redwood City, California but travel to the Stanford Campus, Stanford, California may be required at times.

As a Director, your responsibilities include:
Team Management
Provide visionary leadership and inspiration to team members, setting clear goals and expectations while fostering a sense of purpose and enthusiasm.
Managing the Learning Ecosystem
Lead and manage staff in the planning, strategy, and execution of learning and development solutions and systems that are integral to our school/unit plans, people, and culture.
Build strong relationships
Participate as an active thought partner and team member within the broader HR community to partner effectively with business unit managers and the leaders.
Analyze and sustain
Evaluate results from learning and development and university management metrics.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelorâs degree and at least eight years of experience leading organization-wide leadership programs, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to articulate vision and strategy and execute a functional plan/roadmap.

The expected pay range for this position is $164,000 to $201,000 per annum.
