Staffing Matches Hiring for Account Manager – Construction Software Job at Remote Full Time

In this role you will support the development and delivery of construction jobsite software. While this job is remote, we are only considering candidates based in Chicago IL.

If you have previous construction experience, including interacting with field staff, as well as estimating experience, you could be a great fit! This is a wonderful opening for people that enjoy presenting and interacting with customers, and have experience in construction and/or software! If you’ve worked in site development, heavy highway, estimating,sewer or foundtion work, you’ll be very familiar with our customer base.

This is a remote position. It requires 30% travel (including overnights) across North America to visit customers and distributors. Lead generation is NOT required, but we are looking for someone persuasive.

In this role you’ll be focused on 1 software product focused on time tracking in the construction space. You’ll do product demonstrations with potential new customers, showing them the features of the software. This is not a hard-selling sales job, and this role does not have hard sales numbers tied to it.

If a customer purchases the product, you will support them through the onboarding process.

You’ll also collect information from customers on how to improve the product, and work with product & engineering to implement.

Responsibilities

• Promote to end users and distribution the most effective methods of adoption/use of Construction Software solutions via jobsite training, jobsite demonstrations, and marketing material generation (print, video, web).
• Support continued development of core software products and related jobsite enhancing technologies. This includes generating a deep understanding of the construction industry, jobsite operations, and customer opportunities.
• Lead machine & off-machine technology field-follow performance validation efforts relating to new product introduction/improvement. This includes defining scope, establishing schedule, traveling to the field, collecting data, and presenting analyzed results.

Qualifications/Requirements

• University degree (B.S./B.A.) in Engineering or Business (Civil Engineering preferred but not required)
• 4+ years of heavy highway, site development, commercial construction, or estimating expereince including interaction with the field staff
• Previous experience as an estimator, project manager or project engineer is a plus
• Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore or MS Project is helpful

Pay: $87,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
