Toddler/Preschool Teacher
St Paul’s is looking for a Christian preschool teacher to join our friendly school. We are seeking someone who has a genuine love for children and a solid foundation in the Early Childhood Education. You must be a team player with great organization and communication skills. We want someone who will support out Christian beliefs, teaching philosophy, and school policies

This position will require working with 2 to 3 years of age children. Must be ok with changing diapers

Responsibilities:

-Act as a role model of professionalism in our Christian environment

– Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children

-Learn and implement age appropriate classroom curriculum and daily routines

-Be willing to do light cleaning in the classroom and help with meal preparation.

-be able to clearly communicate with the families, fellow teachers, and the director.

Qualifications:

Preschool Teacher Aide Requirements: Must be a fully qualified teacher by having one of the following:

1.) 12 ECE Units (this includes courses that cover general areas of child or human growth and development (3 units), Child, Family, and Community (3 units), and program/curriculum (6 units), plus 50 days of teaching experience within 6 months, paid or volunteer, in a licensed or comparable group child program.

2.) Child Development Associate credential (CDA) with appropriate age-level endorsement and at least 6 months of teaching experience, paid or volunteer, in a licensed or comparable group child program.

3.) Child Development Teacher Permit

4.) 6 ECE units (Teacher assistant) Substitute must have (12 units)

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
