St. Edward’s University of Austin, Texas invites applications for the position of Assistant Registrar. The Assistant Registrar, manage technical support and functional applications for the Office of the Registrar operations, including registration components, counter service personnel, National Student Clearinghouse related processes, and data entry functions.
For consideration: Bachelor’s degree required. Three or more years relevant work experience including report writing, use of spreadsheets to produce reports, transmission of electronic files using FTP, and related experience. Data management experience with Banner or similar ERP database required. Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience with JavaScript and HTML. Experience with reporting tools such as Argos. Ability to deal with confidential student data and records very important. Ability to work under pressure of deadlines and heavy workload very important. Ability to handle difficult situations and enforce unpopular policies with diplomacy and tact. Three years of experience in a university setting preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, committed service attitude, and strong attention to detail required.
