Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean/ DON of the School of
Health and Patient Simulation, The Coordinator of healthcare career planning and placement responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
working to provide support for individuals who may not otherwise see themselves in a position to accomplish a degree in healthcare and
engaging with people from marginalized populations including first generation college students, people with limited financial resources, and
BIPOC in the community with the intent to educate, motivate, and guide people throughout the process of obtaining a degree in healthcare. in
this this role, the coordinator will perform career counseling, coordinating career planning and job search activities, conducting career
workshops, and coordinating job placement activities within the community.

Duties normally performed in a
college or school environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must have the ability to sit or stand for
extended periods of time. Must have the able to bend, stoop, sit, climb, walk and reach overhead as needed. Light physical exertion.
Moderate travel between local schools, colleges and universities will be required. Personal Transportation required.
