Specialty Printing, LLC Hiring for Accounts Receivable Clerk Job at Windsor, CT Full Time

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

This position is an Accounting Clerk role. This person will focus their time on accounts receivable, cash reports, and bank reconciliations.

Essential Functions:

Work involves most of the following:

• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Accounts Receivable
• Year end audits
• Cash reports
• Account reconciliation
• Answers all assigned vendor inquiries.
• Assists in monthly closings.
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
• Performs filing, copying, and scanning.
• Preparation of monthly sales reports working with staff accountant
• Calculation of monthly safety key indicator reports and Labor Turnover Key Indicator
• Back up for other accounting clerks

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

• High School graduate at a minimum / some college experience preferred
• Accounting course experience would be a plus
• Non-Exempt position
• Several years of relevant office experience, ideally working in a manufacturing environment
• Dependable with solid employment history
• Ability to meet strict deadlines / time constraints for assigned projects
• Proven experience to multi-task in a busy office environment
• Prior experience on computerized General Ledger system preferred
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and other Microsoft products
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meeting strict reporting time requirements
• Ability to handle confidential information is a strong requirement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
