Southwestern
University, located in Georgetown has an immediate opening for a Director of Intramural & Recreational Activities position. The
Director of Intramural & Recreational Activities (SIRA) provides leadership and management over comprehensive recreational services,
shared facilities and programs within Student Life. This position is responsible for the strategic planning, development, assessment,
implementation, and management of an innovative, comprehensive recreational program that provides services for nearly 1,000 participants
annually through five major programming areas: Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Fitness/Wellness, Outdoor Adventures and special events (e.g.
Pirate Training, Sprog spirit orientation activities). These programs cover the informal, competitive, social and instructional components
of recreation that provide the campus community the opportunity for development through active, healthy, inclusive and sustainable
experiences. This is a full-time, fully benefited, exempt position who reports to the Vice President of Student Life.
