SENIOR IT Helpdesk Engineer
The Senior IT Helpdesk Engineer’s core function is the responsibility for all aspects of the operations relating to installed and anticipated computer hardware, network systems, and data communications technologies. The position will provide Tier I and Tier II support for managed users experiencing problems. The Support Specialist is a versatile and highly motivated individual who will ensure the end users has the tools necessary to do their jobs. The positions responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving.
The Support Specialist is also responsible for understanding the needs, supporting all POS software and hardware to meet those needs, and installing that Point-of-Sale solution at the store locations. This includes site preparation, equipment staging, software configuration, actual site conversion for remodels and acquisitions, and new installation. This is a great opportunity to work directly with our restaurants, their employees, and support staff. On Site support and travel to store locations is required.
This is both a remote and in-person position.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Provide tier 1 and 2 level support via remote access, telephone, email, and in-person correspondence
· Setup and install peripherals including but not limited to routers, phones, PC’s, printers, cameras, TV’s and laptops in person.
· Installation and maintenance of restaurant POS software
· Answer incoming end-user inquiries via telephone and email and solve problems including email, password reset, printers, networking, Microsoft Office, Office365.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment in order to provide IT solutions for customer’s critical business systems·
· Participate in after-hours upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or on-call availability as needed.
· Utilize superior customer service skills
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
· Proven network analysis and diagnostic skills, ability to implement quick and effective solutions to network problems and escalate issues when necessary.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
· Aloha POS and QRS knowledge
· Proven ability to operate productively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-up and using off-site connectivity and wireless communications tools.
· Successful at working in a team culture.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to travel a must
· Ability to work independently yet within company guidelines
· High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional maturity
· Ability to work flexible schedule/hours

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
