Reports to the Strength, Conditioning, and Training Coach, Deputy AD, and the Director of Athletics and must subscribe to the SIUE Principles Governing Athletics.

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree
-Certification from either the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA CSCS) or
Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
-Current CPR for Professional Rescuer or Basic Life Support certification
-Evidence of strong organizational skills, communication skills, and computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-Master’s degree
-Previous experience designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for
Division I student-athletes
-Experience training and coaching basketball student-athletes
