Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Compensation Manager, the Comp/HRIS Analyst will support and maintain the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and other systems supported by the Compensation/HRIS team. The analyst will also support compensation plan administration and design. He/She will be primarily responsible for ensuring the integrity of the entry and maintenance of employee data while adhering to internal controls and identifying potential for process improvement opportunities. The analyst will also analyze and interpret data in order to support the objectives of the Total Rewards/Compensation team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE/TECHNICAL/OTHER:
I. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, HR or related area
II. Experience (Type & Length): A minimum of 3 years Compensation experience required;
III. Certification/Licensure: CCP certification and exposure to an Lean work environment preferred
IV. Software/Hardware: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, HRIS systems (UKG and/or Meditech experience are a plus), and a Time keeping system
V. Other: Working knowledge of current applicable legislation and in-depth knowledge of FLSA and other applicable state and federal regulations. Prior experience working with an on-line human resources information system required. Familiarity with spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software required.
