Job Summary:
The Senior IT Audit Staff position is part of a larger team responsible for assessing technology risk and controls within Allstate. This role will apply a risk-based approach to audit projects that are operational and strategic in nature, will develop audit programs and project plans and have full accountability for the lifecycle of the audit. The Senior IT Audit Staff will assist with risk-based IT and Integrated audits with oversight from Lead Auditors. The role will be working in a collaborative environment to deliver reviews where knowledge, experiences and internal/external networks can be leveraged to achieve results.

Our audits provide great opportunities to leverage a digital mindset and work on reviews of various aspects of Information Technology such as cybersecurity, emerging technologies (e.g., cloud, mobile, SaaS), security, IT operations and exposure to cutting edge technology methodology such as Agile. We also collaborate with risk management functions for coordinated engagements on large scale strategic initiatives throughout Allstate. This allows you to gain experience and learn the various areas of Allstate, while making a difference in the company.
This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for executing assigned IT audits/audit tasks to achieve department guidelines and within established timetables with high quality results
Assist in identifying risks and controls within applications and systems that supports key business processes and performs an assessment to determine audit scope
Participate in the development of the audit program, manages the execution of assigned audit test procedures, including reviewing and analyzing evidence and ensuring appropriate conclusions are reached
Ensure the client is addressing audit issues appropriately and in a timely manner, as agreed upon at the conclusion of the engagement
Contributes to department initiatives to improve Allstate IA processes including but not limited to data analytics strategies and the fraud center of excellence
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have supervisory duties. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
CPA, CIA, CISSP or CISA is preferred Functional Skills:
Excellent project and time management skills
Demonstrates verbal and written communication and strong partnering skills
Ability to perform data analytics and generate root cause analysis
Flexibility, adaptability and comfort with the unknown
Strong knowledge of auditing concepts with relevant experience or strong business knowledge
Auditing or IT auditing experience is a plus

Compensation offered for this role is $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.
