Location: Oakland, CA

Hours: 30 hours per week

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for all accounting, billing and payroll functions.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Complete month-end reconciliation and reports
• Journal entries for month-end
• Process bi-monthly billing for clients
• Process weekly payroll for employees
• Enter daily time sheet information
• Complete all A/R functions, including the follow up and resolution of past due accounts
• Complete bank deposits throughout the week
• Complete all A/P functions
• Process Long Term Care Insurance claims for clients
• Process Disability, Garnishment, Unemployment, Employment Verification forms for employees
• Assist with other duties and special projects as needed

Minimum requirements:

• Accounts Receivable: 3 Years (REQUIRED)
• Accounts Payable: 3 Years (REQUIRED)
• Quickbooks: 3 Years (REQUIRED)
• Intuit Online Payroll for Small Business (PREFERRED)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, positive energy, and can-do attitude
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize own work
• Attention for detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
