North Seattle College is looking to hire a Director of Grants and Strategic Initiatives in the Institutional Research and Effectiveness department.
Salary Range for this position is $75,000 to $103,440 annually.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Executive Director for Institutional Research and Effectiveness, the Director of Grants and Strategic Initiatives plays a pivotal role in advancing the College’s mission and core themes. This position specializes in identifying and securing external funding through meticulously crafted grant proposals submitted to a variety of sources including federal and state agencies, foundations, corporations, and other organizations. The role encompasses the full lifecycle of grant activities, from assessing funding opportunities and creating competitive, needs-based projects, to comprehensive proposal writing. Post-award, the position ensures effective grant management and oversight, aligning with campus, district, and state policies while delivering periodic progress reports to internal and external stakeholders. Beyond grants, the Director is instrumental in leading strategic College initiatives that are bolstered by external funding, and collaborates closely with the office of Institutional Effectiveness to drive specific grant-funded projects toward achieving target outcomes and fulfilling institutional strategic initiatives.
This position is full-time, typically working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday during office hours.
