Scion Staffing Hiring for Digital Communications Coordinator Job at Remote Full Time

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Digital Communications Coordinator for an amazing Nonprofit organization focused on supporting equity in the democratic process. This is an exciting Full-Time, Direct-Hire opportunity that is fully Remote! You will be required to work 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST and travel to three in-person events a year.

As the Digital Communications Coordinator, you will report to the Executive Director and assist with building the organization’s online presence. You will develop and curate engaging digital content for various platforms that will contribute to the success of the organization’s mission!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as team lead on digital communications and marketing for the organization
• Transform concepts, ideas, and needs into effective and thought-provoking communications and marketing pieces for social media, our website, and email
• Develop and maintain organization-wide content calendar ensuring programming and fundraising messages are uplifted at the appropriate time and receive strong response rates
• Support the organization in developing digital efforts that promote the mission, which could include A/B or multivariate testing, search engine optimization, AdWords, social media ads, etc.
• Support the Executive Director and other staff with writing speeches, developing talking points, and preparing for other public speaking engagements
• Assist with responding to external communications requests or needs (e.g., press releases, statements, letters to the editor, etc.) and work in conjunction with the Leadership Team to develop a crisis communications plan
• Research and suggest new ways to attract or engage members and practitioners, including promotions, highlighting events, or other methods
• Serve as website manager, creating narrative and graphic content as well as establishing tracking to baseline and expand digital metrics
• Build systems for gathering content from the field, such as testimonials, member engagement opportunities, sister organization content, etc.
• Revise and maintain branding guidelines while overseeing the layout and visual components of external collateral
• Manage and maintain all organizational listservs and related communications and marketing systems
• Serve as the team’s Q/A lead, proofing external documents and preparing them for distribution
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the CRM and other pertinent internal systems and databases

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of Digital Communications experience
• Proficiency with WordPress
• Proficiency with MailChimp
• Proficiency with Social Media Platforms
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Proficiency with Zoom

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
