Who You Are::
SCALE Finance is seeking to hire a driven and dynamic Bookkeeper to join our team. This individual is responsible for participating in the completion of all accounting and financial reporting functions for assigned clients. The Bookkeeper will also interact with support staff, client management and personnel, and vendors. Applicants with 3+ years of professional experience and recent graduates are encouraged to apply
What You’ll Do::
Primary duties and responsibilities include but are limited to:
Daily/Weekly Tasks
- Download bank and credit card transactions for assigned client(s)
- Post transfers and disbursements
- Prepare vendor aging reports and review with client(s)
- Process manual checks
- Process vendor payments
Reporting
- Participate with accrual-based month-end close for assigned clients, including weekly and monthly bank/credit card reconciliations, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and journal entry preparation/support
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all required reports and accounting data to reach applicable deadlines
Support
- Assist clients in managing cash and A/P on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Assist
- Streamline processes and create efficiencies both within SCALE and at the client level
- Provide guidance, as needed, to third party accounting support staff
What You Bring::
- Highly detail-oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact directly and maintain correspondence with internal and external stakeholders including: clients, vendors, auditors, and tax accountants
- Medium to Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of Intacct, QBO, Stampli a plus
- Adherence to internally generated deadlines
- Understanding of corporate financial policies and procedures
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
- $50,000-55,000, depending on experience.
