Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:
Teaching duties in Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral programs as needed. Teaching load topics may include, but are not limited to, online learning design; learning and Web technology tools; instructional design; coding and software development; and multimedia design. Opportunity to serve as a program coordinator may be available. Coordinator duties include, but are not limited to, program promotion/recruiting, student advising, schedule management, and quality assurance data collection and reporting.
Educational Requirements for the Position:
Earned Doctorate in instructional technology, instructional systems, or closely related discipline by appointment date.
Experience Required for the Position:
Experience with or demonstrated capacity for success in developing and delivering high-quality synchronous and asynchronous online learning courses and programs. Experience with an array of instructional technology tools and platforms. Knowledge of theories, models, and tools related to instructional technology.
Other Requirements for the Position:
Demonstrated team-oriented approach to work. Capacity to engage with and support learners’ needs in virtual settings. Willingness to engage in promoting academic programs and fostering partnerships to benefit programs and students.
