Summary

Billing Associate I is the point of contact for support of National Rental Account Managers, National Rental Clients and National Rental Rates.

Essential Functions

• Gather and compile data for reports, and the ability to apply advanced methods to interpret the data and recognize errors and deviations
• Perform intermediate level review and problem solving to assist in the development of Rental Billing process improvements
• Possess the ability to be a critical and progressive thinker to identify and rectify rental billing issues to reduce billing errors
• Review, identify, and monitor trends in rate audits

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist National rental directors in identifying accounts with custom rates that are due rate changes/updates through rate audits
• Communicate with Account Managers (inside sales, national sales, CDM, BDM) regarding their accounts that are due for review, as well as ask for recommendations for their accounts increases
• Communicate with NCRs regarding accounts need to be updated, provide the new rates and the implementation date – follow up to ensure rate change was put in to effect
• Maintain records in Appian for each national rental account change to/or from custom rates
• Assist national rental Directors with projects pertaining to rate and insurance changes
• Reporting of account health, audit status, Appian status, ETC.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as pivot tables, v-lookup, test to columns, freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/unhiding data, setting print titles and page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars and menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options intermediate required

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED High School Diploma or equivalent
• Three (3) years or more previous work experience required
• Intermediate level skills with MS Excel such as pivot tables, v-lookup, test to columns, freezing/unfreezing panes, hiding/unhiding data, setting print titles and page breaks, linking workbooks, creating external links, re-directing links, customizing toolbars and menus, protecting a worksheet, filtering options, and chart formatting options intermediate required.
