Job Summary
The primary function of the Director of Philanthropy is to manage development efforts focusing primarily on the cultivation and solicitation of gifts to support the Roseman College of Medicine’s programs and operations. The Director will also coordinate day-to-day development operations related to the College of Medicine. This includes identifying and cultivating major donors, scheduling major donor appointments, tracking and analyzing donor information, and working with other Advancement team members, COM faculty or staff in conducting foundation and corporate grant research, grant writing, donor/sponsor recognition and stewardship, as needed, for gifts, and grants. The Director will report to the VP for Philanthropy and Alumni Relations and will work closely with all development staff.
