Job Description:
Roger
Williams University is seeking Adjunct Professors to teach in its Theatre Program. Teaching assignments include classes in acting, design,
stagecraft, and stage management. Opportunities to teach literature classes and to direct are also possible.
The Theatre Program is
part of RWU’s Performing and Creative Arts Department and is part of the University’s School of Humanities, Arts, and Education. Professors
who teach within the Theatre Program most often teach a mixture of majors, minors, and general education students who range from beginning,
to intermediate, to advanced levels. Professors who enjoy engaging with liberal arts students of varying backgrounds, levels, and reasons
for moving are highly sought. Many of our students are double majors who seek a life-long relationship with theatre, whether it be a

valued – whether they be other art forms, the sciences, technology, and/or cultural studies.
