Logistics Account Executive

Responsibilities:
– Develop YOUR business within our client’s business
– Connect and Cultivate relationships with customers and carriers to move freight
– Be the direct contact to manage and make decisions on your business within a fast-paced environment.
– Create innovative solutions for your customers through our portfolio of services
– Work together with other entrepreneurial-minded individual in this legacy team.
– Collaborate with upper management in planning for department goals and growth
– Identify new and existing customers strategically through planned daily solicitation via cold calling, email, social media, referrals and other networking opportunities.
– Connect and build immediate rapport with individuals over the phone
– Use our list of supply chain services to meet the needs of customers
– Be the main contact between customers, carriers, shippers and receiver.
Experience:
– Freight Brokerage Sales experienced preferred
– If not Freight, sales experience is required.
– Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish immediate relationships
– Tolerance to ambiguity and the ability to overcome barriers
– Able to work within a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple responsibilities
– Ability to handle conflict and provide insightful resolution with the mindset to prevent future issues
– Honest, strong work ethic, resourceful and possess effective negotiation skills
– Proficient in basic computer skills
– College degree is preferred, but not required
Training –
6-week paid training. In the 6 weeks of training, you will be taught and shown every part of the business. You will be doing
– Inbound and outbound dispatch
– Tract and trace
– Taught Auto Transport
– Taught Heavy Hauling
– Carrier sales
Within these 6 weeks you will learn all about what makes Rite Way operate. We believe having all these skills will set you up for a success future with us. You are paid during the 6 weeks of training and still have opportunities to receive cash spiffs. On the Monday of week 7, that is your graduation and your first real day of account executive!
