They will provide direct support for home visits, supervisory visits, office organization, orientations, and performance reviews.
They will also work with the Care Manager and scheduling team to ensure all shifts are covered, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
Preferred knowledge of in Home Care, experience in the caregiving/medical field, and/or a current CNA license or equivalent.
High School Diploma/GED and at least 2 years of administrative/management experience.
Ability to multi-task and stay calm in a fast-paced environment while ensuring attention to detail.
Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities.
Excellent interpersonal relations abilities.
Excellent communication skills via phone, in person, and in writing.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows-based programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Knowledge of Wellsky Personal Care scheduling software a plus.
Typing and Data Entry Skills Good customer service skills and the ability to ensure all client and employee needs are met in a timely manner.
Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the position.
Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.
Valid Washington Driver’s License.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Scheduling and Service Coordination Serves as liaison between clients, care associates, Care Managers, and Care Services Supervisor.
Schedules and coordinates day-to-day activities of caregivers and clients.
Maintains documentation of care associates work record in Wellsky and ensures current and complete personnel records for all homecare associates.
Communicates continually with associates and clients to evaluate services both internally and externally.
Perform general office and clerical functions and other duties assigned by the Care Manager.
Assist with orientations and interviewing when requested.
Inside Sales Answers telephone, and takes inquiries or messages using excellent telephone etiquette.
Responds promptly and courteously to all client and care associate calls.
Triages incoming calls from caregivers/clients for scheduling changes, or services needed and forwards to appropriate personnel.
Assist in completing Home Visits and Supervisory Visits Liaisons with Care Manager as to which client and care associates need a home visit or a supervisory visit.
Arrange necessary home visits for clients as needed, coordinating with the Care Manager.
Assist with completing daily care logs, and informing Care Manager of any concerns.
Assist with initiating client contact at least every 6 months and provide written documentation of all such visits.
Adhere to agency infection control and safety procedures by performing and documenting observations, procedures, and interventions in the home according to the established care plan in a safe and competent manner.
Effectively communicate and interact with clients/caregivers and families in a supportive manner.
Participates in the continuing commitment for quality care, including attendance at mandatory agency staff meetings.
Assure the plan of care is reviewed on-site, updated, approved and signed by appropriate agency personnel and the client or designated family member every twelve months and as necessary based on changing client needs.
Sharing any concerns you may have about clients or caregivers with your Care Manager.
Assist with performance reviews when requested.
Assist with new client activation.
Assist with home visits.
Assist with marketing, and attending events, after appropriate training.
Assist with planning of special events such as care associate appreciation week.
