Position Summary
The Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University (Rice Business) is seeking an
Associate Director of Student Experience to lead the business school’s team focused on student engagement. The role will involve
supervising and nurturing the Assistant Directors of Student Experience and other team members focused on delivering MBA student onboarding
programs, student leadership and community engagement programming, mentoring activities, and two student initiatives focused on community
engagement (Rice Business Board Fellows and Rice Business Gives Back). The Associate Director serves as the in-house thought leader on
student government and student-directed initiatives through the Jones Student Associations, and provides guidance and oversight on financial
and risk management matters related to student leadership and engagement initiatives and engagement programming.
Ideal candidates
should have extensive skills and experience in student affairs and student life program delivery, preferably in a business or professional
school environment. The ideal candidate should be interested in playing a significant role in helping graduate business students feel
valued, seen, and cared for, while imbuing in them a sense of agency to craft their ideal experience outside of the classroom.
