We are seeking a Senior Structural Analyst that has experience analyzing primary and secondary structures within the aerospace industry. Specifically, someone who has a strong background utilizing FEA on aerospace or aviation engine related components and high performance hardware. Responsibilites:

• Conduct structural analysis using classical and detailed finite element analysis methods that include complex Engines structural hardware such as valves and integration components including primary & secondary structures, instrumentation hardware, thrusters, ancillary lines, and so on.
• You will use structural analysis methods to support acceptance test and failure investigations and improve existing analytical capabilities to enhance the performance of designs.
• Lead the structural integrity of subsystems of a rocket engine
• Develop analysis and structural test approach to verify structural capability of engine subsystems
• Use finite element modeling and classical approaches to support design efforts, test activities, and failure investigations
• Develop standard processes for analysis methods

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in structural analysis utilizing FEA
• Advanced expereince working with Finite Element Analysis
• Very knowledgable in ANSYS
• Experience with structural modeling of pressurized components, rocket engine hardware, or similar high-performance hardware
• Excellent understanding of structural mechanics including strength, fatigue, fracture, and dynamics
• Proactively work to improve methods and processes and ensures all activities meet or exceeds customer requirements
• Ability to direct a team of engineers, mentor junior analysts and designers
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
• Fluent with MS Excel.
• CREO and Windchill desired.
