Recology is NOW HIRING a brand new position to our company – Lean Process Improvement Manager.
SALARY; $130,815-153,900 wage dependent on experience and geographic location
This new role will help identify and execute process improvement projects large and small, affecting all of Recology’s business activities, along with teaching, training and championing adoption of BPI concepts throughout the Company.
ROLE
The role is responsible for building and maintaining a strong and sustainable culture of continuous process improvement. This person will deliver continuous improvement training and actions throughout the company while serving as the Subject Matter Expert on Lean Process Improvement.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF – Continuous Process Improvement Manager
· Leads and cultivates a culture of sustainable continuous process improvement
· Facilitates continuous improvement projects focused on increasing efficiencies, cost reductions and process performance improvements.
· Provides efficient leadership and cost-effective integration of continuous improvement creating operational excellence.
· Facilitates successful Kaizen and rapid improvement process events.
· Assists in the collection of data identifying opportunities and tracking improvements; ensuring that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards.
· Demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to Lean principles and techniques.
· Develops strategies and programs that improve the productivity and efficiency of the various work processes of the company.
· Instructs others in continuous process improvements including the use of various problem solving and productivity techniques such as process mapping standardized work six sigma and cost time management.
· Maintains process improvement implementation schedules for assigned projects progress updates as required and most importantly provides documentation that demonstrates the direct link between process improvement implementation and department improvements.
· Provides continuous process improvement training and coaching to all levels of the organization.
· Calculate cost reductions and or various analyses to determine optimal problem-solving method.
· Partners with the Regional Controller to document savings and profit results of continuous improvement activities.
· Owns tracking on all process improvement projects and reporting progress to leadership.
· Evaluates and confirm production standards for products.

QUALIFICATIONS OF A Continuous Process Improvement Manager
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:
· 6 years of demonstrated Continuous Process Improvement experience.
· Certified Lean Practitioner or Certified Six Sigma (e.g., green belt, black belt, master black belt, or other).
· Experience in change management, stakeholder management, influencing people without authority, and driving results.
· High school degree required.
· Valid drivers’ license required.
· ~25% travel required.
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
