Working Hours:
Maximum of 25 working hours per week. The working schedule for this position requires flexibility including possible evening and occasional Saturday hours depending upon the number/time of courses offered during a given session. Specific work hours to be agreed upon by the supervisor and employee prior to the onset of employment.
Summary:
Provides a wide variety of administrative, clerical and records support functions for programs in the Workforce & Continuing Education Department. The employee may be assigned to perform similar duties & responsibilities in other departments based on the needs of the College and with the direction of their immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree or 2 years college in Business/Accounting or Science/Mathematics field, plus minimum 2 years Business, Industry, or Community College Workforce administrative experience during the past 5 years required; OR a High School Diploma/equivalent and minimum 4 years of Business, Industry, or Community College Workforce administrative experience during the past 5 years required. Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
Communication Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the College.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate averages, percentages and sums.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual: must be proficient with word processing software, spreadsheet software and standard office equipment. Experience with student or client tracking programs and ability to learn manufacturing technology software and LMS.
