Ranch Hope is recruiting for the position of IT Manager. Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in a related field. Experience as a computer technician in an educational or campus setting is preferred.
Since 1964 Ranch Hope has served youth and families from throughout the state of New Jersey by providing Christ centered love and trauma-informed care. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the IT needs for our Alloway and Williamstown locations.
Specific position requirements are listed below.
Major Responsibilities:
· Plan, provide direction and manage IT operations and resources, including network infrastructure, integration of systems and data, communication systems, hardware/software tools, cyber and facility security and streamline business processes to ensure excellent support to users (students, teachers, staff, and various departments). Assure that all identifying information as per HIPAA and FERPA regulations is protected.
· Supervise daily operations of network infrastructure, hardware, systems, and applications to meet the instructional, operational, and administrative needs of the organization.
· Setup new devices as well as manage and maintain all computers and laptops. Ensure software and licenses are up to date. Work with Human Resources to set up and/or disable accounts for new hires/terminations.
· Direct daily network and computer operations, verify operational status and security, troubleshoot, and take corrective actions.
· Work with outside vendors that may provide additional oversight and support.
· Oversee the planning, evaluation, coordination, implementation, support, and management of all technology initiatives within, including the maintenance, repair and upgrading of technology systems and devices.
· Create and maintain a disaster recovery, security and backup and restore plan.
· Develop documentation of technology processes and procedures.
· Plan and manage IT project plans to coordinate organization-wide technology deployments and implementations.
· Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and recommend technical solutions.
· Communicate regularly with departmental and campus administration regarding the status of current project initiatives; obtain guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives.
· Maintain and monitor IT asset management, an accurate department inventory, and evaluate the requests made by schools and departments.
· Coordinate the procurement, selection and deployment of organization wide hardware/software tools and supplies, initiate purchase orders and bids in accordance with budgetary limitations and organization policies.
· Maintain appropriate documentation and fiscal responsibility.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of the organization’s technology budget, pursue alternative funding sources, and oversee and monitor contracts for services
Preferred Experience or Credentials:
· Strong Knowledge of IT infrastructure and project management methodologies and tools.
· Ability to objectively research, evaluate and recommend software solutions that fit our environment.
· Knowledge of:
o technology including networks, hardware, software applications, system design techniques and controls, and maintenance.
o Google Workspace Administration, Microsoft 365, Windows Laptop Support
o IT network administration and implementation and production support of IT systems.
· Ability to problem solve – define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Demonstrated ability to identify, establish and track key performance metrics and key indicators and to prepare reports and analysis for executive management review and action.
