The assistant teacher (guide) will implement and facilitate an environment conducive to a child exploring, discovering, and actively learning through play- having a deep understanding of the importance of routine and why collaboration fosters a beautiful learning atmosphere for children to grow.

Our team will receive flexible scheduling (4 day work week) – you get a three day weekend! There are many opportunities to grow and learn within education and personal development. Our team is provided training in Waldorf, RIE, and outdoor education after their probation period.
Successful candidates will enthusiastically engage our youngest learners and work collaboratively with colleagues and the parent community to create an educational environment aligned with Our school’s pedagogy, mission, and program goals. The ideal candidate will be a familiar with Waldorf or RIE Education (not required), have experience working with young children, and be committed to self-development, teaching to the whole human being, and open, direct communication with colleagues and parents.
Your job responsibilities are as follows: Guides/assistant guides must be reliable, professional, and willing to learn. A commitment to high standards in early care and education is essential. A certificate from Montana ECP Registry is required (we help you get this). Verbalizes and demonstrates an understanding of state childcare licensure requirements. Guide/assistant guide completes all duties thoroughly and accurately, performing all paperwork and documentation. All tasks are completed on time while paying attention to detail. The guide/assistant guide will create an environment conducive to child development and learning, including but not limited to: proper dress, daily child schedule needs, food prep, and service. The guide/assistant guide can adapt to the changing rules and regulations in the child care environment. They practice team member etiquette, do not gossip, offers assistance to busy team members, find solutions to problems/issues with team members involved, and mentor new staff with compassion and patience.
