About Quinsigamond Community College:
Quinsigamond Community College (QCC), the largest community college in Central Massachusetts serving over 13,000 students in degree and certificate programs, adult education and workforce development. QCC offers over 70 associate degree and certificate career options in Business, Health Care, Technology, Liberal Arts, and Human Services. Job Description:
General Statement:
Using developmental advising as the foundation, the SUCCESS Scholars Academic Coordinator is responsible for managing a caseload of students, overall program coordination and collaboration for the second phase of the SUCCESS Scholars program, and assisting the Associate Director with faculty advising training development and facilitation. These activities may include, but not be limited to, researching and implementing best practices; collecting and analyzing student success data; program reporting; planning, leading and evaluating individual and group advising, career or transfer events, and enrichment activities to ensure every SUCCESS Scholar is provided with individualized supports and with proactive career, academic, transfer, and financial aid counseling. This is a full-time position housed within Academic Affairs (Academic Advising). SUCCESS Scholars serves students who have historically been underserved and underrepresented including Latinx and Black students; first-time/first generation/low-income and/or part-time students.
Supervision Received:
Reports directly to the Executive Director of Advising, Testing, Career and Transfer Services.
Supervision Exercised:
May supervise Work Study students and part-time student support staff as appropriate.

Salary is competitive and commensurate with MCCC salary schedule and dependent upon such factors as education and experience. Minimum starting salary for a Grade 6 (Academic Counselor) with a Master’s Degree is $70,120-73,692 and includes a comprehensive benefits package. 37.5 hours per week.
**Actual salary will be determined in accordance with classification determination of MCCC/MTA salary schedule commensurate with education and experience.
Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Based on student needs, some evenings and weekends may be required.
