Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Mission Assurance Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located Clearfield, Utah.
As quality engineering, we define and monitor mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. We assure quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers are in accordance with contractual requirements. This role may be filled at an Quality Analyst or Principal Quality Analyst Mission Assurance depending on the qualifications below.
Responsibilities include the following:
Authoring documentation to instruct operations on successful execution of quality requirements
Manage and coordinate non-conformance containment and corrective action implementation activities
Lead data collection, analysis, and customer interface
Write and manage risk mitigation actions and assuring their implementation.
Contribute to design change control reviews and implementation
Support internal audits, process observations and area assessments
Establish and maintain collaboration partnership across functions and programs, customers, program management, and other support organizations

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Quality Analyst:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of Quality Engineering and or Mission Assurance related work experience; in lieu of degree minimum 6 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Mission Assurance required; or a Master’s Degree
Knowledge of Inspection Plans and First Article Inspections
Active DOD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior manufacturing experience
Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings
Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods
Knowledge of continuous improvement principles
Background in Composites
Work Schedule:
Opening on B & D shifts
Must be willing to work any shift
Work schedules can vary, with the following shift options:
Shift B Monday – Thursday 10 hr shift 3:30pm – 2:00 am
Shift D Friday – Sunday 12 hr shift 6:00 pm – 6:30 am
