2 20 hours ago Full Job Description Job Summary As the Marketing and Public Relations Administrator, you will deliver marketing and public relations plans while executing various communication functions for the Ray W.
Herrick Laboratories and various research projects that are conducted by the Labs.
This includes research centers activities and sponsored projects.
You will be the lead in planning and coordinating small- and large-scale events including the bi-annual compressor engineering, refrigeration, and air conditioning and high-performance buildings conferences, press releases, maintaining CRM databases, and updating and monitoring social media and web content.
This position may conduct assessments and metric analyses.
A successful candidate will need to collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure the Ray W.
Herrick Laboratories and its underlying centers and projects branding is up to date with current university marketing and media guidelines.
You will have a high level of autonomy in collaborating with vendors and manage students to complete projects.

What We’re Looking For:
Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphics, or communications, or related field Two (2) – Three (3) years of experience in event planning, marketing, communications, public relations, or related area required Experience may include original content for fliers, newsletters, announcements, and annual reports Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered Preferred:
Two plus (2+) years of experience with presentation material such as WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Skills needed:
Ability to work independently to organize events on a large-scale hosting over 500 guests Experience collaborating with catering companies, event planning services, and VIP guests Basic knowledge on CRM formatting to maintain database of guests and visitors Ability to host complex events via Teams, Zoom, and other virtual platforms Familiarity with presentation software (WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office) Additional Information:
