ProStaffing Hiring for Customer Service Clerk Job at Hickory, NC Full Time

Hours: 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri

Location: Hickory, NC

Pay: $15.00/hr

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to hire

ProStaffing is currently looking to fill a Customer Service Clerk position located in Hickory, NC. Interested candidates must have previous customer service or shipping clerk experience.

Customer Service Clerk Responsibilities:

• Process incoming orders, which includes customer confirmations, order accuracy verification, and credit release if needed.
• Liasion between manufacturing and customer and Sales Representatives.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and emails in a courteous and professional manner.
• Maintain customer database.
• Process customer inquiries inquiries, order entry.
• Communicates customer’s needs and expectations in a timely manner to production department.
• Matching and filing orders.
• Skills in coordinating traffice and deliveries with production.
• Coordinate shipping of freight with all common carriers.
• Prepare delivery tickets, print customer labels and back orders.
• File freight claims for damaged or loss items.
• Ohter various customer service/shipping duties.
• Assist with yearned inventory as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Computer experience required (Microsoft Office, Excel). Experience in JDE is a plus.
• Must have a good work record and attendance history.
• Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be professional and courteous at all times.
• Must be able to work overtime if needed.
