Description:
This is a front-office, strategy-based role intended to manage challenges and identify improvement opportunities regarding operational activities. The Service Delivery Specialist will be responsible for the research and resolution of challenging transactions. The selected candidate must have the ability to think outside the box, recommend unconventional solutions that can minimize risk for and reduce the impact on the relationship with the suppliers. The selected candidate will be responsible for optimizing supplier interactions with our Procurement tools to ensure transactions can flow through the system with minimal issues.
The Service Delivery Specialist will be asked to coordinate a variety of procurement operations tasks and work on projects simultaneously. The position provides various supply chain operational support across Technical Center. The Service Delivery Specialist will have opportunities to interact with business unit customers and SCM managers, suppliers, and other functional groups like Finance and IT.
