Job Purpose:
The Salesforce Project Manager will lead the implementation and
integration of the Salesforce platform for Online and Digital Learning. They will be responsible for the overall management and
implementation of the Online and Digital Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Project Manager is the person with overall responsibility for
the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of the Salesforce project. They are responsible
for collaborating with project teams, gathering requirements, designing solutions, and implementing configurations for the online and
digital Salesforce instance. They develop methodology and best practices and drive platform adoption. They manage the Online and Digital
Salesforce roadmap and collaborate with all platform initiatives.
Responsibilities for the Salesforce Project
Manager:
• Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for Online Salesforce implementations, including planning, design,
development, testing, and deployment.• Oversee the day-to-day project management activities for Online Salesforce specific
projects.• Coordinate and communicate project activities and timelines to the Associate Dean of Online and Digital Learning.•
Serve as an expert with respect to Salesforce system functionality and best practices for implementation.• Understand the strategic
imperatives, business capabilities, and operating model for each of the seminary departments and units involved in the Salesforce
implementation.• Assist CRM working Group in implementing the plan for integrating the Salesforce so that it supports and contributes
to growth; student, staff and faculty satisfaction; competitive positioning; and operating efficiency within Online and Digital
Learning.• Collaborate with seminary departments and units with adoption strategies, including reports and dashboards, to measure
success.• Facilitate the management, planning and governance of Salesforce as it relates to so that delivery is coordinated and
optimized to reflect both the needs of the department or area and those of the organization as a whole.• Identify ways to adapt systems
to better support organizational processes.• Clarify cases for proposed solutions and workflows as they relate to online and digital
learning.• Establish, maintain, and nurture vendor and organizational unit relationships to ensure optimal solutions.• Work with
vendors and IT staff to resolve issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
• A bachelor’s degree in business
management, project management, computer science, engineering, marketing, or a related field; master’s preferred.• 3+
years’ experience in Salesforce configuration, implementation, and integration• Salesforce experience with higher education
processes (preferred)Proficiency with CRM Cloud Apps/Platforms preferred.• Exceptional knowledge of various Salesforce modules and CRM
business processes.• Experience managing projects that adopt and adhere to Salesforce best practices and functionality.• A good
understanding of cross-channel marketing monitoring and reporting with best practice knowledge.• Ability to present and explain complex
technical topics, problems, and alternative solutions to others.• Capacity to plan and manage business analysis activities across
multiple projects; define and document business processes and workflows. Ability to understand, follow, and help refine departmental
standards.• Adept at meeting deadlines, handling and prioritizing simultaneous requests, and managing laterally and upwards.•
Participate in policy discussions, department meetings, and tasks aligned with departmental objectives.• Collaborate on researching,
testing, and implementing new technology solutions.• Create, test, update, and optimize internal and stakeholder process
documents.• Contribute to team and Seminary initiatives.• Contribute to a high-functioning and respectful team culture by
fostering open communication and collaboration.
