The Director of IT will be responsible for overseeing all IT-related staff and activities, including the infrastructure of technical operations for the company. This position is a hands-on role. The Director will work towards achieving business goals, minimizing security risks, increasing user satisfaction across the organization, and maintaining all operations and systems while also organizing and directing the day-to-day activities within the department and managing all IT team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need strong technical and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be responsible for supervising IT-related staff, providing timely feedback on performance, training new staff, and overseeing all technology operations including the maintenance and support of hardware and peripherals, data systems, printing/scanning devices, networking, and audio-visual and communication systems to ensure effective agency operations. All activities must support Princeton’s strategic goals and objectives and produce results that accomplish the goals of the company. Multifamily, property management or relevant experience in a multi-site environment a plus.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent business degree and at least 5 years’ experience in information technology.
· At least 2 years’ supervisory experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Ability to manage, provide strategic direction, and drive business results by managing the performance of staff members.
· Experience in project management or supervision, especially projects that require changes to programs, roll-out of new procedures, policy, software, or similar organizational changes is preferred.
· Experience supporting employees across multiple office locations including remote work setups.
· Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT solutions and their specifications.
· Highly proficient in Microsoft office applications and user licensing.
· Familiar with cybersecurity standards and best-practices, including NIST 800-171.
· Experience managing IT services in a hybrid on-premises/cloud environment.
· Strong working knowledge of property management software and applicable operations workflows and processes. Entrata experience a plus.
· Knowledge regarding current available technology solutions and trends in multi-family technology a plus.
· Meets/exceeds the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; identifies, understands, monitors, and measures the needs of both internal and external customers; talks and acts with customers in mind; recognizes working colleagues as customers.
· Solid understanding of computer hardware, software, peripherals, and networking.
