PPC Partners, Inc Hiring for Human Resource Manager at Greer, SC  Full Time

The Human Resources Manager will manage the operations of the HR Department to include administration of the 401(k) plan, health and welfare benefits, leave programs, workers’ compensation insurance, employment, and employee relations. In addition, this position will partner with the Safety Department to contribute to the overall success of CPI by planning, directing, and coordinating HR management activities to support safety and other business support functions maximizing strategic use of the human resources.

• Work with HR team to plan, develop, and execute strategic HR objectives which actively support CPI’s growth plans in collaboration with other PPC Partners Inc. companies.
• Develop 1 & 3-year plans for Human Resources Department; attend monthly management & strategic briefings and bi-annual planning meetings. Complete monthly reports & meeting materials.
• Create, monitor and attain HR budget.
• Counsel managers on recordability issues.
• Actively work with Finance, Payroll, Safety and other business support leaders to address needs of each business unit
• Support the development and growth of Centers of Excellence for PPC’s HR team
• Assist with the completion of annual safety awards.
• Distribute, collect, and monitor development plans for all members of management; provide assistance as requested.
• Participate in annual CarolinaPower & PPC People Development/Talent Review meetings; gather information and complete necessary paperwork for each.
• Oversee annual appraisal process; work with managers on assigning increases and obtaining approval as needed.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of previous HR experience.
• SHRM certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or business-related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Resourceful individual with positive safety attitude and high personal integrity
• Strong knowledge base on human resource theories, principles, and applications.
• Ability to work independently, research information, and to reason and think logically to implement action plans and reach solutions.
• Ability to develop, plan, and implement short and long-range goals.
• Employee development and performance management skills are essential.
• Capability to organize work for ensured follow-through.
