• Experience related to functional department management areas such as purchasing, requisition, contracts, grants, and complex budget management, including the collection of detailed background information and tracking for various projects.
• Demonstrated ability to implement office management and project management practices, including scheduling, record-keeping, and working with multiple stakeholders across departments to distill information and navigate competing priorities.
• Experience in updating and maintaining databases, online planning documents, information reports, etc., with great attention to detail.
• Ability and ease with arranging all logistics pertaining to travel, conferences, webinars, etc. including pre-approval and p-card reconciliation.
• Demonstrated experience and comfort with providing support for event planning, including management of departmentally-owned collateral and supplies.
• Evidence of adaptability and flexibility in navigating changing work environments.
• Interest in marketing, communications, and/or public relations fields.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field (relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis).

One (1) year of progressively responsible administrative support experience.

After one year of management or confidential service, PCC also provides a 2% contribution to a 403(b) account for eligible management and confidential personnel. PCC offers a tax deferred annuity program and a deferred compensation program where employees may save additional pre-tax dollars for retirement.

Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age, as well as partial tuition reimbursement for full-time employees at other accredited institutions.

This job operates in a professional business office environment on a PCC campus, with frequent interruptions and irregularities in work schedule. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a stationary position for long periods of time (sitting or standing); communicate with employees, partners, and stakeholders; and operate a computer to develop work products, communicate, and carry out responsibilities. Occasionally the employee is required to move about the campus to; attend meetings, access items, and utilize equipment, and, rarely, move or transport items up to 10 pounds.
