Pool Service Technician Hiring for Pool Service Technician Job at Largo, FL Full Time

We are a premier pool builder in Largo Fl, looking to expand its work force. We are looking for an experienced pool service tech. Our ideal candidate should be well versed in Pumps, Heaters, Control Systems, Plumbing and all other aspects of pool repair, and should be prepared to address a wide range of repair challenges that our customers might challenge!

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00am starts

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, Preventive maintenance or scheduled improvements of mechanical systems.
• Performs various maintenance functions, Preventive maintenance, repairs, minor electrical repairs.
• Regularly checks water readings, filters, pump valves, tanks, gauges and vents.
• Maintains pumps and motors, performs repair work in and around pools, filter room, chlorine room or on the pool decks.
• Supervises and participates in emergency repair situations.
• May install and service a wide range of hardware.

• Leak Detection & Repair

• Pool & Spa Lighting
• Tile, Coping, Pavers, Deck Surfaces
• Pressure Testing inspections
• Repairs as a result of a Health Department Inspection

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-5 years of verifiable hands-on general pool maintenance and repair experience (i.e., plumbing, electrical, pumps etc.) is preferred with proficiency in at least one major area.
• Ability to read, write and do simple math is essential and ability to use a computer is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screen.
• Must have a valid drivers license to operate company vehicle.

Pay rate range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience!
