Pomeroy Hiring for IT Desktop Support Technician Job at New Martinsville, WV Full Time

Pomeroy is looking for an experienced Desktop Support Technician to work on-site in our clients location in Proctor, WV.

In this position, you will be employing superb problem solving and customer service skills in order to resolve client technology-related problems, including break-fix triage for hardware and software on end user systems. You will also be assisting in the imaging and rollout of Windows 10 devices to Windows 7 users.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 10, be A+ certified with the ability to obtain additional certifications, and have strong troubleshooting and break-fix experience.

Job Functions:

• Perform break-fix triage on printers, POS, Server/workstations, Other devices
• PC Installs and rollouts, including assisting in the imaging and rollout of Windows 10 devices to Windows 7 users.

• Desk-side software support utilizing Windows Operating Systems.
• Responding to incoming service requests in a timely manner and follow set up procedures for logging, reporting, and monitoring desktop operations.

Required Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• CompTIA A+ certification required, Net+ strongly desired
• Work within a customer oriented, positive team environment. Great face forward customer service ability.

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for communications with technical and non-technical staff.
• Configure, troubleshoot and repair hardware.
